Welcome!¬†On this site you’ll find information about my research and teaching, plus links to lots of my published works. Use the menu (above) for the particulars.

Most of my work has been in moral philosophy (both theoretical and applied), though I have published occasionally in other areas as well (e.g., philosophy of the social sciences, phenomenology, ancient philosophy). I have taught widely in moral and political philosophy and on topics in contemporary philosophy. I regularly teach courses in ethics, applied ethics, and phenomenology, freely drawing on readings from both analytic and continental philosophical traditions.

I am currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Hartwick College, in Oneonta, NY.
